Charge dispute events

What data you get for charge.dispute.created, .updated, .closed, .funds_withdrawn, and .funds_reinstated.

Fires when a card dispute (chargeback) is opened, updated, or resolved on one of your charges.

All five events share this shape:

  • .created — a new dispute is opened.
  • .updated — status or the evidence deadline changes.
  • .funds_withdrawn — settled becomes true; the disputed amount is withdrawn from you.
  • .funds_reinstated — reinstated becomes true; previously-withdrawn funds are returned.
  • .closed — status reaches a terminal value (won, lost, warning_closed) and closed_at is set.

These five events aren't individually selectable in enabled_events — subscribe with "*" to receive them.
