Overview

What PaymentGateway is, what it can do, and who it's for.

PaymentGateway is a payment platform for accepting payments, billing customers, and paying out funds — across many payment providers and methods through one consistent system.

What you can do

  • Accept payments — collect card payments, PromptPay/QR, e-wallets, and bank-based methods, with a hosted or embeddable checkout.
  • Manage customers — store customer profiles, saved payment methods, and balances.
  • Bill and invoice — issue invoices, run subscriptions, apply coupons and taxes, and send credit notes.
  • Move money out — make payouts to bank accounts and transfer balances.
  • Track everything — view charges, refunds, settlements, and analytics in the dashboard.

How it fits together

A typical flow looks like this:

  1. A customer is created (or pays anonymously through checkout).
  2. A charge collects the payment using a payment method (card, QR, wallet…).
  3. Funds settle into a balance after the provider confirms the payment.
  4. You refund, invoice, pay out, or transfer from there.

Behind the scenes, PaymentGateway routes each payment to the right provider (for example Stripe, Omise, or a local bank rail) based on the method and country — so you work with one API and dashboard regardless of who processes the payment.

Who it's for

  • Business / dashboard users — manage payments, customers, invoices, and payouts through the web dashboard. Start with the Glossary.
  • Developers — integrate payments into your own product via the API and SDK. Start with the Quick guide.

Test and live

Everything can be tried safely in test mode, which uses sandbox data kept completely separate from live money. When you're ready, the same flows run in live mode.
